1) My smiles are getting more tired day by day without you to wake me up.
2) I writhe in bed looking for something to grasp. Even in the deepest of sleeps, my body still needs you.
3) My Pandora station keeps playing our songs, unaware that “we” do not exist anymore. It burns.
4) Every night I almost delete all of your messages. Almost.
5) Sometimes I go sit in the forest alone or drive to the city alone. I do this partially because I want to be alone, and partially because I’m hoping you’ll be there too.
6) I daydream about what could’ve been and end up hating myself for it.
7) As days pass I lose myself a little more.
8) I know what heartbreak is.
